One of the great things about being a photographer is the opportunity to meet interesting people. It was similar when I was a television broadcaster. During my time in tv I had the opportunity to perform in the Nutracker Suite ballet. Not bad for an uncoordinated reporter. Now when I say perform, I mean I was dressed in a tux, handed off to a ballerina and told to stay out of the other dancers way. Having said that, I was on stage for about ten minutes. It was a blast. While there, I met another dancer, François Chevennement, who would go on to open a ballet company in Edmonton. François invited me to take pictures at a rehearsal. I later did a photo shoot with two of the dancers – Caleigh & Nyda.
